Center History
Our center began in the fall of 1992 to meet the needs of mothers and fathers who were working, going to school, or both. We knew that many families needed a warm, safe environment where they could leave their children while they were away from home. The Center started with a single little boy and has grown to a center averaging 80 - 105 children.
We have grown and developed in playground areas, classroom space, teacher education, curriculum, and programs. We are looking forward to further growth and development as more and more children are enrolled.
We have been a member of the Association of Christian Schools International since 2004. We also have held a Two Star recognition with Step Up to Quality since 2015. In 2020, we were upgraded from Two Stars to Three Stars.
Mission Statement
We believe that each child is a person made in God's image and that each person has specific gifts from God.
Our mission is to provide opportunities to develop the gifts that God has given to each child and to share his/her development in growing into a complete person being able to use the developed gifts to bless his/her world.

To provide developmentally appropriate care in a safe, secure environment that encourages the total development of the child.
To help children recognize their special worth as an individual, to develop self discipline, to develop respect for oneself and for others, to develop understanding of other people.

We are a proud 3-Star Step Up To Quality Rated Childcare Center for Infants, Toddlers, Pre-k and School-agers.

We use the Ohio Classroom Observation Tool (OCOT) and the Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) assessments, which are apart of our accreditation with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).

Our goal at BTDC is to prepare children for the next stage of their lives through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills and healthy interactions with their peers.
A Place to Grow
We are a developmentally appropriate licensed facility for the care of young children. We firmly believe that each child is unique and has a special contribution to the world.​
We at BTDC provide a fun, exciting, faith based learning environment where children can just be children and explore and experience new things on their own level and in their own way.

We've designed and adapted curriculum and practices that far exceed the high standards of today's world. By providing a supportive and engaging environment, we make sure each child receives what they need.
We offer full time and part time child care. Also to keep your little ones as safe as possible, we have 24 hour security cameras as well as keyless entry. We also accept both private and JFS payment.
MEET OUR TEAM
A STEP UP TO QUALITY THREE-STAR RATED PROGRAM MEANS:
The administrator and teachers have higher educational qualifications.
The administrator and 50 percent of lead teachers have at least an associate’s degree or equivalent. These qualifications benefit your child’s development and learning.
The administrator and teachers complete 20 hours of specialized training every two years.
The administrator and teaching staff are committed to expanding their knowledge and skills to better support your child’s development and learning.

The lead teacher uses results from a classroom self-assessment to improve classroom practice.
The program evaluates the classrooms and teacher/child interactions to make sure the environment supports children and their development. Programs can then make changes to better support your child’s growth and learning.

Relationship building with families is valued.
Teachers and families work together to create goals for children and share information about their child’s progress. The program offers at least one event to involve families in their child’s learning and development.

The program supports and values employees
At least two of the following are provided to staff: health insurance, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, discount on child care, paid professional development, retirement, flexible spending account, one hour of paid planning time weekly, paid holidays or life insurance.
